Our Associates
Passed by the LCF Board on Wednesday, April 28, 2021, the Associate Members of the LaSalle Community Fund Association are listed below. There are up to 11 positions available which are all strictly voluntary. Anyone interested in coming on board to fill a position that may be available from time to time should contact one of the current Associates with their intent or CLICK HERE and one of us will contact you. VINCE MARCOTTE
Associate
After graduating from the University of Windsor in 1977, Vince worked for 26 years with the Federal government and in 1994 moved to the private sector and started working in Human Resources Department for Casino Windsor. Sixteen years later, he retired from Caesars Windsor in 2011 as its Director of Human Resources. During this time, Vince coached hockey for 25 years with the LaSalle Minor Hockey Association, coached baseball for 15 years at the Turtle Club, and since retirement he has continued to be active in the community.
From 2003 to 2009, and again from 2011 to 2017, he sat on the Board of Governors for St Clair College. In 2009 he joined the Board of the WFCU Credit Union, retiring in 2021. Vince is probably better known for his 24 years as a municipal politician, being elected Councillor in 1976, eventually becoming head of Council, and LaSalle’s first Mayor (1991 to 2000).
STEVE REAUME
Associate
Steve was born & raised in LaSalle and retired in 2020 from Reaume Chev/Buick/GMC on Front Road. He is now living on Martin Lane with his wife Gail of over 50 years. Jeff & Craig, 2 of the 4 children also live in LaSalle, but the girls got away… Jenn to Belle River & Terri is living in Virginia.
Over the years, 4 children along with 8 grandchildren over the years occupied much of Steve’s free time from work, along with baseball, hockey, fishing, and hunting. He still managed to be a long-time Member of the now-defunct LaSalle Youth Centre (“LYC”) & for several years was President. The LYC’s major projects include the public Swimming Pool at Front Road Park, and the old Front Road LYC Centennial Arena which was replaced by twin-ice pads at the new Vollmer Centre. The LYC also initiated the LaSalle Fun Fest & Parade which later evolved into the more well-known Strawberry Festival.
When Steve was approached to join The LaSalle Community Fund Association, he did not hesitate to offer some of his time in retirement to become involved. The LCF is a new community organization that is committed to assist with the fund-raising efforts of local groups & individuals who give of their time & money… continuing to make LaSalle a better place to live, work, and play.
Associate
Mike is a resident of LaSalle and has been for his entire life. He graduated from the University of Windsor with a degree in Mathematics. He is married to his wife Anna and together they have 5 adult daughters and 3 grandchildren. In his spare time, he loves to play golf, travel, and spend time with his family.
Mike has been operating as a financial advisor since 1986 under his business, Matthew Wealth Management, where he provides financial advice to his clients in Windsor/Essex County. He is a lifelong learner and passionate about the quarterly coaching program he has been attending for about 30 years through Strategic Coach.
Mike loves to mentor youth and spent many years coaching LaSalle Minor Hockey. He plans to continue giving time & value to the LaSalle Community in his role in the LCF Association.
GISELE MELOCHE
Associate
Gisele is proud to call herself a lifelong resident of the Town of LaSalle and knows firsthand that her hometown is a great place to raise a family along with her husband Chris.
Gisele is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, and a graduate of the University of Windsor. She is an experienced Senior Manager at a Global professional services firm with deep skill sets in project management, leadership, risk assessment, and audit quality performance management. This expertise will prove valuable in her role as a LaSalle Community Fund Advisor.
Together, we can make a difference! Gisele is looking forward to collaborating with residents, businesses, and charitable organizations to continue to proudly invest in our community.
DON HARRIS
Associate
Don grew up on a dairy farm north of here, on Lake Huron, in a tightly knit community. He is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and business brought him to this area in 1989.
2021 marks 30 years since he purchased his first home in LaSalle. He and his wife Mary raised 2 children, now adults, in LaSalle. He has been active in the community as a minor sports coach and sponsor for a number of years as well as sitting on many boards and being involved in important projects like the Vollmer Centre.
Don has been a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones in LaSalle since 1997 and has taken great pride in helping LaSalle residents achieve their important financial goals.
Don is excited with the opportunity the LaSalle Community Fund Association has to benefit the community.
MIKE COFFIN
Associate
Mike moved to LaSalle in 1975 and along with his wife Wendy, they owned & operated the LaSalle Variety Store at the corner of Front Road and Maple Street for 30 years. They supported various local initiatives and sponsored many of our local sports teams.
Mike was a volunteer firefighter with Sandwich West Fire Service back in the 1980s and has sat on various organizations over the years. He and Wendy have two daughters who were born and raised in LaSalle and have provided them with 10 grandchildren. Mike and his daughter Amy now make up ‘Team Coffin’ at Royal LePage Binder Real Estate.
Mike truly believes in the long-term goals of the LCF which will be a vehicle to provide opportunities for the residents to support their hometown.
MELISSE REAUME
Associate
Raised nearby in River Canard, Melisse has been a resident in the heart of LaSalle since 2010 with her husband Jeff, and their 2 children Carson and Kaia. She graduated from the University of Windsor with a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences. Melisse is currently employed with over 20 years of experience with Green Shield Canada in the Customer Contact Centre as a bilingual representative.
Most of Melisse’s volunteering, donations, and fundraising were through experience with her children’s school activities, charity organizations through her work, and involvement with LaSalle Minor Hockey, LaSalle Turtle Club, and Skate LaSalle which her children participated in for many years.
Melisse is looking forward to devoting the time required to be involved as an Associate with the LaSalle Community Fund Association. Eager, willing and committed to making LaSalle better for future generations to come.

Vince and his family have been residents in LaSalle for almost 30 years. Vince was a previous business owner and land developer in the community before transitioning to education. He is presently a Vice-Principal with the Windsor Essex Catholic District School Board. He is married to his wife Debbie and they have two children that have been actively involved with the community as well.
Vince has been giving back to the community in a variety of volunteer positions over the years. He was a team Manager for several LaSalle Minor Hockey travel teams, as well as an active member of the LaSalle River Canard Family of Parishes. Vince is currently an Usher and member of the Youth Outreach ministry in the Parish.

Debbie Francia has been a dedicated member of the Lasalle community for many years, raising two children who have actively participated in local soccer and hockey programs while excelling academically. With 25 years of experience as a Human Resources professional, Debbie brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role on the board of the LaSalle Community Fund Association.
Debbie and her family have greatly enjoyed the walking trails and amenities that Lasalle offers, further deepening their connection to the community. Her passion for fostering a supportive and thriving community is evident, and she hopes to bring this enthusiasm to the community of LaSalle through her LCF board activities.

Greg and his wife Tracy have been LaSalle residents since 1983 and were financial supporters of the original LaSalle Community Foundation’s first project with the Vollmer Centre.
Greg is a retired Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Windsor business school, and has volunteered and sat on many charitable organizations during his public accounting career, primarily focused on disadvantaged youths or children with disabilities.
Greg is looking forward to contributing his time to the new LaSalle Community Fund Association (LCF) which will benefit all present and future residents of the fine community of LaSalle.
