Our History

There was a former LaSalle Community Foundation established in 2006. It was organized about the same time the Vollmer Centre Project was becoming a reality, but it quietly disappeared after the Vollmer Centre was completed as it was perceived to be part of that project, and no longer needed.

The new LaSalle Community Fund Association was formed on April 28, 2021, by a group of local individuals who saw the need for a LaSalle organization intended to live on for generations providing the community of LaSalle, with funding assistance for a variety of worthwhile projects now and into the future.
